Offshore outsourcing has changed the shape of modern industry. It is important that the companies should think over it and grab the opportunity and benefits it offers. Here we are trying to analyze those driving factors that might encourage a company to offshore outsourcing. Most important thing of offshore outsourcing is that it is cost effective and it results from lower labor cost and reduced project timelines. Offshore outsourcing throws new challenges and expenses to the domestic companies. Those include cost of vendor selection, legal costs, costs of transition and many others. That's why even though the proofs of possible major up-front rate savings lots of outsourcing wholesalers have yet to prove that they are able to provide positive ROI in a complex project. The main driving factors of offshore outsourcing are as follows-

  • Lack of special knowledge − This is one of the most important reasons for which a company should offshore. Sometimes company needs technical expertise to perform a job and that is not present in the company. On the other hand they do not need a fulltime worker.   • Floating require for workers − Sometimes companies which are engaged in large projects are reluctant to search for new skilled workers for a very short period. But they need it earnestly. In this case they depend on vendors for the supply of skilled experts.
  • High Risk level - Companies working in high risk area often wants to reduce their number of employees by engaging offshore vendor with advanced expertise in the same domain. Although it is not wise decision to shift all responsibilities to vendors this system in many cases allows reducing risk.
  • Process supervision perfection − Outsourcing vendors often earn their profit as a result of standardization of their internal process. As a result of interaction with such mature vendors the outsourcing organizations often benefit by gaining some standardization experience for themselves.
  • Reduction of managing time − By transferring projects and functions of secondary importance to an outsourcing vendor, the management of the company can dedicate more time to areas of priority and core importance. This saves precious time for the management of the company.
  • Realizing objectivity − Often companies suffer labor problem. It is very natural that peoples mind can not keep pace with the rapid changes of technology and they are reluctant to welcome the new techniques. As they stick to that old approved techniques and methods, they are not able to find and apply optimal solutions. This obstacle delays new Initiatives and creates problem between employers and employees. To avoid such obstacles it is worthy decision to recruit independent expert company that will suggest the most appropriate solutions for particular business needs.

But the final decision about what to outsource lies with the company. It must be seen that time and money should not be wasted on finding the best vendor. At the same time a vendor should not be hurriedly decided upon as they may not suit the needs perfectly. This needs a concerted management which must look into the actual needs of the company. Otherwise they will also not be able to explain this to the vendor and might lose from offshoring rather than gaining from it.
